Viviene Kingston is straight off the train from her Boston boarding school for young ladies of exceptional talents when she discovers that her brother and guardian, Colin, has been brutally murdered. When Viviene discovers her brother’s secret journals chronicling his life as a investigator in the paranormal and magical, she knows his death wasn’t the animal attack she was told it was. In fact, Colin’s partner, the mysterious and dashing Matt Sawyer is still investigating.

Matt reluctantly lets Viviene join the investigation which will take them through the streets of Denver, the booming silver mines and the homes of one of the most powerful and dangerous men in the city. As they close in on the man responsible for Colin’s death, Matt’s secret past is threatened with exposure and Viviene will be forced to choose between avenging her brother and the young man who has stolen her heart.

While I’m currently unpublished, I am currently a member of the Romance Writers of America and belong to the Futuristic, Fantasy and Paranormal Chapter within the organization. I hold a B.A. in Extended English Education which was awarded to me by the University of Arizona and have been teaching English at the high school level for over six years.
